Delicious Cup is a documentary series that examines life in its most unfiltered state — where beauty and bitterness coexist. The title is intentionally ironic: the images do not aim to sweeten reality, but to reveal the endurance behind it.

Delicious Cup is a study in unfiltered human experience.
In this series, Wall Kurt employs a fragmentary visual strategy that foregrounds the tension between immediacy and contemplation.
The work was produced in Bamako as part of the AfriDocs Documentary Development Lab, where the artist developed a methodology rooted in observation, proximity, and emotional intuition.

The sequence unfolds through six typologies of encounter:
the collective body, the unexpected gesture, the mundane object, the intimate portrait, the nocturnal tension, and the communal release.
Together, they construct a non-linear narrative that resists aestheticization and instead prioritizes presence.

Kurt’s images function as sensory documents — textured, raw, and emotionally charged.
His practice reveals a commitment to photographing from within the environment rather than from a distance, positioning him as a contemporary voice attentive to the complexities of everyday life.
