This body of work is a series of deep contemplations made over many years and many miles. It emotes the psychological states of mind and the expectations and constraints women have adopted and endured in order to carry on, reflecting and projecting.

This work is a coming of age and a declaration of independence.

I’ve stepped out of the shadows to illustrate that which was embedded in and on me.

After years of time travel in making this work, I realized that the only was out was through.  Making the work was revealing, empowering, transformative, and profound.

I continue to raise awareness of our collective human condition, beginning with the self:  awareness, discovery, love and respect.
