This photographic essay explores intimacy and distance through bodies, objects, and fragments of contemporary Mediterranean tourist spaces. Rather than following a linear narrative, the series traces emotional transitions — from desire and physical presence to absence and residue.

Public gestures gradually give way to inner states, while recurring motifs of pairing and repetition reflect how connection forms, weakens, and reconfigures. Human figures recede, replaced by traces: consumed pleasures, maintained graves, barriers, and structural echoes.

The work observes how intimacy becomes fragile within standardized environments, and how emotional experiences leave subtle imprints on places long after people have moved on. Instead of offering resolution, the series remains open, inviting viewers to reflect on what stays, what fades, and what quietly persists.
