“Aeonian” reflects on memory and endurance. Using my grandfather’s old photographs and pressed flowers, I transform fragility into permanence, where what fades continues to live through tenderness and time.

Aeonian means eternal, everlasting - and also names the dried flowers known as everlastings. In this series, I worked with photographs taken by my grandfather, layering them with pressed flowers collected and preserved over time.

By covering faces and gestures, I tried not to erase but to transform, to allow something fragile to speak about endurance. The flowers become a bridge between worlds: between the living and the remembered, the organic and the photographic, the fleeting and the eternal.

Through this dialogue, Aeonian reflects on memory as something that continues to grow even after its subjects fade, suggesting that tenderness itself might be a form of permanence.
