The project explores the relationship between humans and vast natural landscapes.

The artist describes leaving the dense environment of the city and encountering expansive, almost other-worldly terrain that feels like stepping onto another planet. In this environment, the photographer experiences a shift in self-perception: while city life can make a person feel small and confined, standing in the middle of immense nature creates a sense of freedom and openness.

The work reflects on how a person’s sense of identity changes depending on where they stand. By placing the self within large, empty landscapes, the photographs capture moments of introspection and confrontation with one’s own existence. The images emphasize the contrast between the scale of nature and the human presence within it, highlighting both human smallness and the possibility of rediscovering oneself in the natural world.
