Hard to explain starts where my first book Das ende left off. Someone from my childhood found it in a bookstore and got in touch with me again. We reconnected right away, forming a relationship that was fun and easy, but hard to explain at the same time. So hard, that writing about it became the only way I could try to make sense of what was happening between us. This is what led to the following writings. A collection of short poems and photographs about relationships, identity, pleasure and death. An exercise in translating feelings into words, and an attempt to understand all that is difficult to explain.
