Play: The places between

The selection of photographs, taken in Hackney, East London, are part of an ongoing project about children, play, convivial living and the city. As well as highlighting the joy of being outdoors, connecting to mother earth, our hands, or engaging in experimental play, the project is also a celebration of the invaluable opportunities that inclusive, accessible public space and places of play create for building communities and for people from different backgrounds to rub shoulders. It's about those places and those shared experiences that remind us of the humanism that unite us.
