On sunday, the northern Cyprus citizens will elect their new President. This state, only recognized by Turkey, is the northern part of Cyprus island, still divided by a wall since the civil war with greek extremists from 1974. As former President Mustafa Akinci created a surprise criticizing Erdogan's military offensive in Syria, Northern Cyprus people claim their own strong identity, very different from turkish settlers...
