I first went to Eastport, Maine because I wanted to be the first person to see the sun rise.
I first went to Eastport, Maine because I wanted to be the first person to see the sun rise. Being the eastern most point in the US, Eastport alone can offer this almost poetic experience. Last summer I would occasionally make this journey down east. I cant explain what kept making me return and it is to soon to tell what exactly has captivated me. It may party be do to the island's seclusion, or maybe it is how the community reminds me so much of home. None the less I will be making Eastport my home this summer in order to determine the root of my attraction
