The 10th edition of the Biennale Images Vevey celebrates its milestone anniversary under the theme We Are Family!
Overview
Since 2008, the Biennale Images Vevey has become the most significant biennial exhibition of visual arts in Switzerland. Every two years, it brings artists, visitors, and media from all over the world together around a unique concept: whether indoors or outdoors, in parks or other public spaces, all the artists’ installations are custom-made and enhance the features of the Swiss Riviera.
The Biennale Images Vevey is renowned for its monumental photographic installations created in collaboration with artists such as JR, Cindy Sherman, Martin Parr, and Thomas Struth. Over its 9 consecutive editions presenting the work of over 450 artists from some 60 countries in a bespoke format, the Biennale has been a catalyst for cultural exchange and encounters.
Anoush Abrar, Carlos Amorales, Martina Bacigalupo, Lisa Bertoldi, Richard Billingham, Matthias Brunner, Siân Davey, Cristina De Middel, Lusica Dörr, Hans Eijkelboom, Elsa & Johanna, Charlie Engmann, Lóa Fenzy, Nadine Fraczkowski, Kata Geibl, Sunil Gupta, JR, Erik Kessels, Abdulhamid Kircher, Pacifico Silano, Annelies Štrba, and Francesco Pennacchio are among the exhibiting artists in the 2026 edition.
The event offers a broad range of accessible experiences for all audiences, from audio guides and workshops to activity books and inclusive outreach. Visitors can explore the exhibition grounds through three distinct, free guided tour formats: on foot, by bike, or on a skateboard, rollerblades, or scooter.
