Loose Joints 2014—2024 at Galerie Derouillon

To celebrate a decade of publishing contemporary photographic discourse, Loose Joints is thrilled to announce an exhibition of works by thirty-six artists from our catalogue, curated by Nicolas Poillot, with the support of Galerie Derouillon.

Overview

Poillot’s curation of the Loose Joints backlist explores the common editorial themes linking a decade of varied photographic works. These range from projects addressing cultural and political issues to monographs by visionary photographers, from underrepresented voices to celebrated artists. The connecting threads between these works are enhanced through an experimental exhibition design by architecture and design practice Avoir, and custom-mounted prints by Artifices.

Featured artists include Mohamed Bourouissa, Michella Bredahl, Coco Capitan, Oliver Chanarin, Eli Durst, Buck Ellison, Rahim Fortune, Erik Gustafsson, Khashayar Javanmardi, Abhishek Khedekar, Richard Mosse, Tim Richmond, Pia Riverola, Felipe Romero Beltrán, Sam Youkilis, Xiaopeng Yuan and more.
