  • Shortly after Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas in August 2019, Nadia and her sons were deported to Cap-Haïtien after more than ten years of living in Abaco. "We are grateful to be here because we are alive, we can breathe," she said. "But I want my children to go back so they can build their lives."
