Pride Photo 2026 Open Call

The Pride Photo Foundation strives to expand its horizons, and those of its audiences, through a rich, multi-faceted, and diverse collection of stories representing the global LGBTQIA+ community.

Overview

The contest aims to showcase a diverse and multifaceted representation of the global LGBTQIA+ community through photography, offering both exposure and financial recognition for selected photographers. Chosen artists will receive €500 for each work included in the Pride Photo Exhibition 2026. They will gain exposure to visual arts professionals, photography lovers, thousands of visitors, and the media through exhibition displays and online platforms. Their work will also be featured on Pride Photo’s website and social media, credited and tagged where possible.

Practical Info

Participants can submit either a series of images (3–15 images per project) under the Stories category or single images (up to 5 per project) that tell a story in a single frame. Each photographer may submit a maximum of two projects per application, and multiple applications from the same artist are allowed. Applicants must provide personal information, biography (up to 1,500 characters) and CV. All photographic formats and approaches, including documentary photography, portraiture, collage, photographic intervention, or AI-assisted imagery, are welcome.

Selected photographers will receive €500 for each work included in the Pride Photo Exhibition 2026, which will be shown in Amsterdam and travel internationally over the following year. Their work will also be featured online and on social media platforms, providing global exposure to visual arts professionals and the public.
