L'Image Satellite 2026 Open Call

Selected artists will be invited to take part in L'Image Satellite festival exhibition programme in Nice, France, between Semptember and October 2026.

Overview

The L’Image Satellite Festival has opened submissions for its 2026 edition. The call welcomes photographers and visual artists working with contemporary practices of the still image, including documentary approaches, artistic and experimental projects, vernacular photography, and explorations of images presented in printed, exhibited, projected, or moving formats. Selected artists will be invited to take part in the festival’s exhibition programme, offering visibility within a platform dedicated to emerging perspectives in contemporary photography.

Practical Info

Applicants are invited to submit their details via the online form located at the base of the festival webpage. Upon submission, a redirection page will confirm receipt. The organization then ask that you forward your portfolio – comprising no more than 20 images – by email. For those wishing to provide deeper context, an optional PDF (up to 20 MB) may be attached to showcase previous exhibitions, installation views, or supplementary materials that illustrate your creative process. You will receive a confirmation email within 72 hours of our receipt of your portfolio.

About l'Image Satellite festival

Organised by the Sept Off association and based in Nice, the L’Image Satellite festival is conceived as an observatory of photography that foregrounds emerging practices across documentary work, artistic experimentation, vernacular photography, and hybrid image forms.
