International 212 Photography Competition 2023

The 212 Photography Competition run by 212 Photography Istanbul showcases the best up-and-coming talents of the year from the country, region and around the world.

Overview

Aiming to discover and showcase new talents, International 212 Photography Competition is open internationally to all photographers. The winner of the competition will receive 5000 Euros and will be published in the 212 Magazine. In addition, the 10 photographers qualified for the shortlist will be exhibited during the 212 Photography Istanbul Festival which will take place between 5-15 October, 2023.

Practical Info

The competition is open to any photographers or artists using the photographic medium on a regular basis. The competition does not distinguish according to genre; portraits, landscapes, still life, fashion, etc. are all admissible. No age or nationality restrictions apply.

In pursuit of the newcomers of the year, only photographers/artists who have not had a major exhibition in a gallery or cultural institution of international importance may take part.

212 Photography Istanbul is an international festival that takes place once a year. It organizes a framework of cultural and educational programs including exhibitions, workshops, talks, panels, film screenings and more, in parallel with online event series.
