Overview
The InCadaqués Open Call welcomes photographic projects from artists at every stage of their career, with no specific theme. It encourages diverse artistic approaches and seeks projects distinguished by a strong visual language, conceptual clarity, and exhibition potential. The selection reflects the festival's commitment to supporting emerging talent while celebrating photography as a space for dialogue, experimentation, and contemporary visual storytelling.
Practical Info
The open call is open to photographers worldwide. Multiple submissions are permitted; each application must be limited to a single project of up to 15 images.
A total of 20 photographers will be selected. The main prize recipient receives a €1,000 cash prize, production costs, a solo exhibition, accommodation and transportation to Cadaqués, a VIP festival pass, and a one-year Premium Pass. Additionally, 14 finalists each receive a €150 cash prize, production support, an exhibition, the opportunity to present their portfolio, a VIP pass, and a one-year Premium Pass.
Plus, the Fisheye Magazine - Women Photography Award and the New Realities Photography Award each include a €1,000 cash prize, production support, a solo exhibition, accommodation, media coverage, and festival benefits. Furthermore, 3 Special Mentions receive a €300 cash prize, production support, and an exhibition, while two projects selected for the Instagram Prize will be published in the InCadaqués Risograph Catalogue 2026.
About InCadaqués Festival
Founded in 2016, InCadaqués is an international photography festival held annually in the coastal village of Cadaqués, Spain. Through exhibitions, artist talks, portfolio encounters, and site-specific installations, the festival creates an intimate setting for discovery, exchange, and dialogue between photographers, collectors, and audiences. Alongside showcasing contemporary and historical photography, InCadaqués supports emerging artists and encourages new ways of experiencing, collecting, and engaging with photographic work.
