The Other in Me

'The Other in Me' visualizes my soul‘s inner longing for transcendence in the ordinary and our common desire to (re-)connect with ourselves and nature.

Moving between the tender lines of reality and dream, material and immaterial, immanence and transcendence, I am exploring the magical world of women practicing rituals and energy work. Trying to break free from the confines of the material world and turning the inside out.

Through personal rituals we dive into different spheres – of ourselves and our environment – and share intimate, emotional and transformational experiences. Rituals create bonds. Rituals can provide a sense of orientation, healing and self-awareness.

'The Other in Me' visualizes my soul‘s inner longing for transcendence in the ordinary and our common desire to (re-)connect with ourselves and nature. This journey allows us to unearth other paths of being and becoming.

After a ritual, we met this toad in front of our house entrance as if it had been waiting for us. Toads are closely associated with elements of earth and water, the life-giving forces.
