Temple Road

"Temple Road" is about an industrial district in Germany where numerous faith communities of diverse origins gather to hold service. Every Sunday I visit the area to capture the contrast between these rather plain surroundings and the act of worship.

In the outskirts of Frankfurt, in the midst of an industrial landscape, lies a remote enclave that undergoes a transformation every Sunday. While the area witnesses a bustling workforce during the week, a different energy unfolds on weekends. Within the confines of industrial warehouses, diverse faith communities find spiritual solace in an unlikely setting. Behind closed doors and unnoticed by the rest of the city, the plain halls of Temple Road come to life and take on a new meaning.
