Object-I've

"Object-I've" is on ongoing series of black and white portraits made in collaboration with friends and an object of their choice.

I am interested in making portrait that are more than skin deep and gives the viewer a unique access to the subject, their personality, profession and attitude. I also want to give my friends more authorship and make the process more collaborative and fun for them.

All the photos are shot on 8x10 camera, using paper negative, with lenses from the beginning of photography, giving each subject a timeless feel.

One of the photo from the series Mira Knoche with the palette knife, won the Scottish Portrait Prize 2018 in the Black and White Photography Award
