Seeking universality and reconnection with the natural world. Questioning the segmented connection that favors individualism and technique. A call for unity through reduction to universal figures and orders, beyond direct perception of reality.

After leaving Mexico City, in what is commonly called the search for oneself, exploring the nature of Sardinia let me question my perceptions and prejudices. This experience triggered a paradigm shift, considering whether one should see oneself as part of the whole rather than solely belonging to a specific place. For me, the world revealed itself as the true place, beyond consumeristic and utilitarian notions, finding meaning in every tree, every leaf, every shadow.

In the pursuit of universality and connection with the natural world, arises a questioning of the segmented connection that favors individualism and technique. This project becomes a call to unity through the reduction of universal figures and orders, transcending direct perception of reality. This approach, simultaneously realistic and abstract, moves from the general to the concrete, from the macro to the micro, in a balance between movement and stillness. Here, the mask of reality is revealed, the forms of the same totality. Ultimately, the true act of belonging is found in reconnecting with the world. Additionally, pause, reflection, and imagination emerge as acts of rebellion against rampant image consumerism, preventing us from discriminating between them.
