La Voix du Feu gives Eurydice the opportunity to revisit her own history.Beyond the myth, it is the word of a woman who reclaims her place in the world, evoking the fate reserved for her and the earth.

La Voix du Feu is freely inspired by Eurydice incendie, a poetic tale written by Chloé Baudry.

The world of men is burning. Fire ravages all. Insatiable, they continue to trample on limits. Bodies, places, resources. “You've gone further than the underworld, without realizing it”.

Chloé Baudry's Eurydice speaks of the power of flames. She speaks to set things right. “The world is turning upside down,” she says. To speak to restore truth and meaning. Telling of the chaos of the world and the possibility of coming back from it.

This series explores the notion of sisterhood. The mythical figure becomes a sister, an ally. She returns to face her anger. To tell the world about her anger. To speak of Orpheus's op- pression, of the grip of patriarchy, of the exploitation of land and people. She recounts this chaos. She draws us into this universe of disturbing strangeness or terrifying fa- miliarity. A world that is ultimately our own. And she bears witness to our indifference.

But we are also witnessing a rebirth. Speaking out becomes a gesture of self-affirmation. It's an impulse towards life. It's an impulse to get rid of what no longer suits us. And where the refusal to compromise becomes a joyous freedom.
