I submit to you, master.

Growing up in a conservative family. In my upbringing, I focused highly on obedience, and I was afraid to ask or think beyond what is considered normal to my family belief systems and religious ideals. The word "creation" was taboo to my family as it is a way of questioning the limits of oneself and is considered challenging god in creation.

I remember one day when I was 7 years old. I drew a policewoman holding a kid, where my conservative female teacher thought I was exceeding my creative limit by challenging god in creation.

After that day, I felt my exploration of my visual language should be limited. Today, with the advance of technology and endless creation. The question became whether machinery is challenging the intelligence of human. In this narrative, who has the authority over the other?

My photo series narrates the power of creation, command, and obedience. The gradation of ascendence, vengeance, and vigor.
