Body Delinquency

It's the need of deconstructing the ways we interact with each other, how we can transcend our envelope when it's been mistreated, how we can re-construct something when the concept of intimacy itself has been degraded by abuses.

I aim to reach through photography and deformations the substance of what links us to our our own self and to others. From ecstasy to exhaustion, I study the different mental states we perceive, how we react to excess and pleasure. Is the body defined by its representation? If so, how can we share passions, pain, alienation, desire?

Some stories can't be told with realism ; they need to be processed by fantasies and emotions to be spit out of the teller. It's also where the depiction of reality reaches its limit, when the lived moment has been modified by overwhelming feelings. Like a stone thrown in the water of a pond, we see its wave long after it sank under the surface. Body Delinquency expresses past and present emotions, the love of one night, intense physical feelings and irrational thoughts.
