Ijen is a volcano located in East Java, Indonesia where you can find one of the few remaining open-cast sulphur mines on the planet. Famous for the blue flames and for its acidic lake, we decided to enter the crater to discover its beauty and the trade of the approximately four-hundred miners. These images show the cruel reality in the frame of a supernatural landscape.
