'Through the Lush' is the playground for the senses. As a child, the artist would lay on the ground under flowers and in the foliage, peering out from behind blooms, drinking in the summer garden. As an adult, the artist plays with perspective, breaking compositional rules and embracing the cheerful clash of colors and textures, while seeking the ecstasy and escape of neurosensory overload.
