Hear our cries

Sudanese woman became symbol of revolution in Sudan. On the streets of London, they also led the protest, and dominated the megaphones. Both old and young. I tried to capture as may of them in one frame as possible and capture the energy of the protest. Sudanese women have always participated in revolutions in Sudan. If you look at Sudanese history, their queens have always led the state. It's part of their heritage. And yet, this fact stands at odds with the reality that gender inequality is still very prevalent there.
