Survival in adversity

In six months, I visited dozens of provinces and cities in China, and photographed the current living situation of the people in this deeply troubled country.

For many Chinese people, 2020 is the year of survival. Only by living can there be hope. Novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) is spreading in China and around the world. In this disaster, everyone is in the same position. During this epidemic, I experienced three times of 14 day compulsory home isolation. When the epidemic was gradually controlled, the Chinese government began to cope with the downward pressure of the economy and gradually promoted the resumption of work and production. In six months, I visited dozens of provinces and cities in China, and photographed the current living situation of the people in this deeply troubled country.

In China's urban epidemic prevention management and control, governments at all levels have spent a lot of money to deal with the spread of the epidemic. The home isolation without leaving home is strict and effective. Although people in remote areas have weak awareness of epidemic prevention, with the deterioration of the epidemic situation, people gradually know the seriousness of the situation.

In terms of economy, industrial production and demand have shrunk significantly, the profits of industrial enterprises have decreased significantly, small and medium-sized enterprises are more difficult to operate, and the unemployment rate has gradually increased. With the outbreak of the epidemic, many enterprises have to declare bankruptcy. The tourism, hotel and catering industries have suffered heavy losses. Shops have withdrawn their rents because of the pressure of rent. Real estate companies are looking for breakthroughs and choosing online sales. Many local leaders and Star public figures are selling goods online, which promotes local economy. Schools are delayed and offline education institutions are closed one after another,

This epidemic is still spreading all over the world. a new round of epidemic prevention and control has begun, the war is still going on, and there is still no accurate answer to when it will end.
