Summoning

I am interested in the Oriental spiritual world, especially the metaphors that spring up in the long rivers of distant history. Rooted in life, the ancient belief in gods subtly affects people's psychology and mind. After studying in London, once I am in an environment with a mysterious nature, the more I perceive the memories of history are constantly ignited in my mind. As a Chinese, an inner voice drives me to find my spiritual connection between two cultural backgrounds. Simultaneously I begin to ask, to explore how Chinese people gaze, construct, and imagine their existence in society under thousands of years of Oriental culture, and how the metaphors support and reconstruct their real life.

The spiritual world is connected to the culture, politics, and various life states behind it. From fictional literature and mythology to superstition, the appearance of one cross-cultural symbol after another. It implies the mystery of uncertainty, full of reality and myth in people's minds.
