Breaking heart

Over the 6years, I've been shooting which showing inside of my heart, feeling and view of life and death. Using 35mm films, sometimes with double exposed or painting on the picture.

Living in Tokyo Japan since I've born and I see the very difficult issue of people's depression. Suicide is the leading cause of death among people in their 20s and 30s in Japan. We became lost the spirit of nature.

I learned that materialism can't make people happy.

In Buddhism, there is a word called 'Jito-myou' which means self-light. And Budda teach every people need to discover the light inside of yourself. Not rely on someone or society for your happiness. When you find the light inside of you, it' s leads to your true happiness and free in the cosmo.

I want to express that everyone has god within themselves.
