2015 - 2016
"South Perimeter" is a photographic project carried out between 2015 and 2017. The series explores the landscape as a testimony and symbol of the economic and social transformations suffered by the city of Lima -the capital of Peru during the last 5 years. The project aims to highlight an apparent growth in the industrial sector of the southern outskirts of the city of Lima, which contrasts with the strong rural roots of the area, where improvisation reigns. Through "South Perimeter", Solange Adum enters this territory and seeks to represent a growth that has been occurring in dialogue between nature and the hand of man, thus placing a literal presence to replace it with a more subtle one, where the Urgent loneliness establishes a link between oneself and the natural environment.
