"Dandelion" deals with the escape of the 17 year old Salma from a violent family background and a possible forced marriage. The focus of my work lays on the idea of detachment from your parents house as a fundamental human question. An experience that each of us goes through.

In Salma's case, it is driven to extremes by the dramatic nature of her situation and experiences an almost romantic idealization.To hold ones ground against family expectations driven by a youthful strength.
