Second Sight is a project that interprets the supernatural into a contemporary space. It negotiates the strong historical place of the supernatural being equated with religious fables and beliefs, and the human necessity to hold a faith. Second Sight is about the human search for something that is intangible and beyond human comprehension. Looking into phenomena such as light, forms and movement, to unveil the many elements that help us comprehend the world beyond what we see. This project sits in an in between world where truth and representation is confused, and the unexplainable can allude, defy and even exist. It is an attempt to materialise my inability to move in either direction, both curious to believe and quick to doubt.
