The Black Man is the damned of the earth. No nation suffers as much from birth, identity, and color as she does. To exist today is to live at the height of your death, which is painful. To ease this pain, I imagined scenes that explore the strength, dignity and incredible beauty of this community. "Your flesh used to swing in the southern breeze" is a vibrant tribute to the sensibility and aesthetics of black culture. After the series of tragic events that happened in America in recent years, my series is meant to be an emotional and physiological resurrection.
