A swan song to those endless summers of adventures, to the lightness of youth.
The last real summer I can remember was the one in 2016. Warm, sweet, full of promises, so many festivities, plays and concerts. My older son finished school and was preparing to leave home. The younger one enjoyed the last weeks of his childhood and had to say goodbye to his classmates, but still met them every day down by the lake. A long summer of explorations, new possibilities and total freedom.
