Reconnection with Nature: A Journey of Inner and Outer Beauty

The pandemic asked for a pause, so did my body. During this pause, I began to photograph what was happening not only inside my house and environment but also inside my body.

I believe that in today's world, beauty should not be limited to just physical appearances, but rather it should encompass a deeper connection with nature and a sense of harmony with the environment. As humans, our spirits have grown away from nature, our intrinsic relationship with the environment has been broken by ourselves. The urge to reconnect within my own personal thoughts and feelings, accelerated my impulse to be inside nature, to be nature.

The same nature that gave me the power to grow life inside of me, was asking the entire world to rethink our behaviors.

The pandemic asked for a pause, so did my body. During this pause, I began to photograph what was happening not only inside my house and environment but also inside my body. My internal house. I let nature take possession, to grow a seed in me for 9 moons. I surrendered to the power of the sea and rivers, allowing this time to nurture us flourishing, and becoming one with Mother Earth. -Paz- is a photographic documentation of my pregnancy in times of pandemic, my relationship with nature, and the inner spiritual journey that began with it.

Paz means peace, and this is the name of my daughter, who has given me the most powerful, beautiful, and transparent love.

Amidst the chaos, Paz was born and with her came the purest and most beautiful love. These images are a love letter to my daughter, who transformed me and, together with nature, made me be reborn.
