Quinceañeras

It's their big day. Quince. Fifteen.

Ready for a formal celebration, these girls are dressed to the nines.

Except that their dresses are donated.

Their home was built by volunteers.

These girls are orphans.

Oprhans, resilient, luchadoras (fighters).

This is a personal project I started years ago and I would like to continue to document orphan women who are celebrating their Quinceañeras in different parts of Latin America.

This requires funds to travel, a local producer and all other logistics associated with traveling to/from these locations and my Brooklyn studio.

Gracias.
