A selection of photographs of Athenian queer youth.
For the past eight years, Queer Athens has been an ongoing personal project. I observe and photograph expressions of gender identity that exist beyond conventional boundaries.
I was drawn into the Queer Community and its vibrant scene by the extravagant and eccentric nature of the performers and their work.
I see queerness as both a rising, original form of art and an existential response to living with or within the Uncanny.
