The project I am presenting here is titled OWL, FOX, HEDGEHOG, DEER. All photographs were made in a small town in Slovenia where I grew up. I am now revisiting those places and I am photographing and writing about local myths, folklore, people and places that shaped the identity of this specific area. Although I belong less and less to these places I still feel a strong connection. The project currently exists in a newspaper format but I want to transform it into an exhibition or a book and to further investigate what makes this place so special to me and hopefully also to others. Majority of the photos were taken in 2021-2022.
