Memorabilia "Memorabilia: A Love Letter to Life"

Those necessary but everyday moments are what make life beautiful, outside of the digital and artificial, we forget what is essential and true.

"Memorabilia" is a love letter to memories, a manifesto that the simple and every day, and pauses, are the purest and most beautiful things. For years, I have had a nostalgia and love for opening the photo albums of both strangers and acquaintances and seeing the memories that they capture, and how they transport us to a sense of nostalgia, but also to memories that generate inexplicable emotions. This collection of images is an imaginary but real movie of what I keep in my memory, a poem that I took photographs of my memories, a pause. They are simulations that life gives us, that we all experience at some point, but now, with a world that is so accelerated, it is essential to remember them. Holding hands, a kiss, hanging clothes in the sun, looking out of the window, a birthday, a hug, being born, observing a flower. Those necessary but everyday moments are what make life beautiful, outside of the digital and artificial, we forget what is essential and true. This is a reminder of the purest and most genuine aspect of life itself.
