Light Structures is an ongoing series in which I treat light as a material capable of forming an internal alphabet.

Light Structures is an ongoing series in which I treat light as a material capable of forming an internal alphabet.

Rather than documenting the external world, these images record gestures—brief luminous events created in the dark with a single point of light. Each photograph is made in one uninterrupted movement, allowing intuition to guide the form before thought interferes. The resulting shapes resemble fragments of a script that has no known origin: a flame, a spiral, a curve, a gathering of lines. They appear symbolic yet resist translation. The dark background is an essential part of the work, functioning not as empty space but as a surface against which unconscious gesture becomes visible.

Together, the images suggest that light can be a mode of thinking. These forms are traces of attention, breath and bodily movement, moments in which the boundary between intention and chance dissolves.

The series reflects my interest in the space between drawing, performance and photography, where light becomes a living, self-writing presence.
