Fem'ani - PhMuseum

This work navigates what it means to photograph a man while female, as well as the relationship humans have to nature. It reveals a white, feminine gaze on a black, masculine figure. The title expresses this combination, my female gaze and the model, Emani. The delicacies in masculinity are explored. It also discovers how the mental and physical respond to an ever changing, ever moving landscape. Both photographer and subject moving and exploring ways to present the somatic experience in which they experienced the valley and ever changing light.
