This photograph is part of Dulce y Salada, a work where I reflect on geological time and human time through the relationship we build with water. As humanity, we are a force for transformation at a geological level. Understanding that force and learning to build a sustainable future is one of the priorities of our present. Just as rivers chart new directions moving over the land, we will have to chart and imagine new possible futures.
