This one is part of a series of self-portraits. I wanted to explore and create atmospheres from other planets in crowded but meaningful spaces to me. This photo was taken on an old road in Tlaxcala, Mexico. I usually travel that road at the end of the year. Despite I´m with people, though, I think this series is vastly about decontextualizing the environment to represent or experience something that only me is watching. From my very intimate view, I think that these self-portraits are still part of the compilation of photos that I used to take to dwell other spaces, a few years ago, because I literally wanted to be somewhere else and I think that these photos were somehow a way to scape.
