Pamela in no mans land

"i will never stop loving what's left of you " my father ,John , said a few years ago, since then my mother doesn't speak but smiles a lot she is a happy soul in a happy place I hope.she looks at us with vacant eyes.

I don't see my mother very often because I live in Italy however every time i have visited i have tried to capture a moment of her still active but disorientated or isolated. Unfortunately these recent years she has declined a great deal.

The photos are faded like her memory and I have used both photographic paper as well as tracing paper .the tracing paper acts as a filter, a hazy one like her memory which if lifted or blown reveals a clearer image underneath .
