All Good And Very Happy focuses on the intricate mother-daughter relationship and how both sides deal with leaving the nest for the first time.
Leaving Italy and moving to England for my studies started the first chapter of my adult life: wonderful, adventurous, full of surprises, new encounters and most of all, the beginning of a new direction. The person who most intensely lived this transition was my mother. This series documents how her and I have responded to this change and the roller coaster of emotions we both faced. In order to fully capture our strong and complex relationship, All Good and Very Happy was documented throughout the course of a year, using a range of staged and natural portraits, self-portraits and still lifes.
