Present your work to this 5th edition, offering €10,000 in cash prizes, 3 featured interviews on Vogue Italia, a solo show at PHmuseum Lab and more.

The 5th edition of the PHmuseum Women Photographers Grant is now open for submissions. From today you can present your photography project to the open call that offers $12,000 in cash prizes to support and finance female and non-binary photographers and pursue the original mission to work for gender equality in our industry.

All the shortlisted works (up to 40) will be projected at the coming edition of the Photo Vogue Festival in Milan, while the Vogue Italia photography department, lead by Alessia Glaviano, will further select three works among all of the submissions that will be granted online featured interviews on the magazine. The call also offers exhibition and educational opportunities thanks to our team that will handpick a project for a solo show at PhMuseum Lab in 2022 and six photographers who will each access a free online portfolio review from our remote portfolio review program.

To participate, you are invited to submit one or more projects centred around a specific theme, narrative or concept. All approaches are welcome from classic to more experimental projects, and you can present more than one work. By applying you retain full copyright or your images at all times, and we’ll ask for your permission to share them on our social media channels. The judging is delegated to Mirjam Kooiman (Curator at Foam Photography Museum), Poulomi Basu (Multimedia Artist) Damarice Amao (Curator at Centre Pompidou) and Dilys Ng (Senior Photo Editor at TIME). It will happen between October and November with the shortlist to be announced just before Photo Vogue Festival.

Over these years, we have discovered many outstanding artists, and we look forward to continuing this tradition. Learn more at phmuseum.com/w21 and our best wishes to this year's participants!
