Magnum Photos and British Journal of Photography have joined forces to offer an innovative series of professional development workshops.

Led by Magnum photographers and leading names in the industry, the program is aimed at early and mid-career photographers. The two days photographic masterclasses will focus on the business of editing, how to establish a professional network, understanding the requirements of the market, and identifying realistic employment opportunities.

On the first day, key speakers will present a number of lectures on specific areas of the industry, providing participants with some insider tips and practical advice on how to be successful in their dedicated area of expertise. A second day of portfolio reviews run by photography specialists will provide the workshop members with honest and constructive critiques of their existing work.

Each workshop is open to 40 applicants, and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Workshops will be held at the Magnum Print Room, 63 Gee Street, London, EC1V 3RS
