The upcoming sixth edition of Cortona On The Move is rich of new proposals and opportunities. One of them is the first Dummy Call of the festival. The COTM16 Photobook Review and Prize opened on May 16th and you still have around 20 days - until June 15th - to send in the proof copy of your book.

The call has no entry fee and the submissions will be reviewed by Jörg Colberg, founder and director of Conscientious Photography Magazine, who will go to Cortona once again this year to choose eleven dummies for publication their website. Five of the eleven authors selected by Colberg will have their work appraised publicly by him during the festival inauguration on 14th-17th July, and the winning book will be published and put on sale during the 2017 edition of the festival.

Mr. Colberg will be considering the book’s artistic and technical qualities. This includes looking at the underlying project’s artistic merit and the translation of the project into the form of a book, considering both the concept (edit/sequence) and its realization (design, production). Dummies should be sent to info@cortonaonthemove.com. Before applying we highly recommend you to visit cortonaonthemove.com to read the full set of rules and download the application form.
