In 2019, I started a project titled 'The Others' and the aim of it was/is to show other ways of life, other possibilities of existence outside of the 'norm'.

From tribes in Omo Valley, Ethiopia that live, love and exist off grid; wearing little to nothing and feeding on their farm produce and surviving entirely without the modern technology we appreciate, women that expand their lips and put lip plates in them believing that the bigger the plates, the more attractive they are as prospects for marriage, to queer men in countries across Africa that dress how they feel on the inside; whether it's all woman or half woman and half man, to communities in Maasai Mara, Kenya that dress so vibrantly and live an organised life under the rule of the community chief to many other explored and unexplored ways of existence.

My desire with this project is to show many more realities; those on and off grid
