'Nomansland' is an ongoing project focusing on the impact of ethnic segregation by the state as well as the influence of a changed environment on people’s idea of peace almost 25 years after the end of the Bosnian War. Alterations by mine fields, the uranium bombing by NATO in the 90’s and an ongoing ethno-political segregation are still having massive impact on people’s life in Bosnia and Herzegovina and are fueling tension between citizens.

The project is a collaboration between Italian photographer Carlo Lombardi and German photographer Miriam Stanke.
